Bench System Components
The 132kW gasoline engine electric dynamometer test bench system
consists of the following components:
1) Electric dynamometer: It consists of an AC motor, a mounting bracket, and a German HBM
T40B series torque flange. It can accurately complete torque
measurement and realize loading and dragging operations.
2) ABB ACS880 variable frequency inverter system: Controls the electric dynamometer, and can directly feed the
generated electrical energy into the power grid, combining
efficient control and energy saving features.
3) XLE-1000 measurement and control system and software: Carries out the overall control of the test bench, communicates
with the frequency conversion system via the bus to set and control
operating conditions, integrates external auxiliary equipment for
centralized management and control, receives and collects
parameters, and completes the test process automatically,
efficiently and conveniently.
4) Data acquisition system: Equipped with suitable temperature and pressure sensors and
acquisition components, it comprehensively collects parameters of
various parts of the engine and uploads them to the measurement and
control system through the interface to realize data display,
recording and analysis processing, with accurate collection and
efficient processing.
5) Motor-type throttle actuator: Adjust various throttle openings, with strong torque, fast

6) Transient fuel consumption meter and fuel boost and pressure
regulating device: The transient fuel consumption meter accurately measures the fuel
consumption of diesel and alternative fuel engines; the fuel boost
and pressure regulating device ensures a stable fuel pressure
supply and guarantees stable engine operation.
7) Coolant temperature control device: Precisely controls engine coolant temperature with fast response
